Bingqin Wang
Bingqin Wang has worked in the field of typeface design for three years and has created multiple font libraries. His understanding and practice of traditional Chinese calligraphy have driven him to uncover the inherent radicalism and modernity within tradition, which he then incorporates into contemporary Chinese typeface design, aiming to create uniquely Eastern yet international typographic styles.

Bingqin Wang graduated from the Visual Communication Design Department with a bachelor’s degree. He has worked in the field of typeface design for three years and has created multiple font libraries. He was selected for the 2024 Central Academy of Fine Arts National Art Fund project and has a representative typeface work called “New Kaiti” (New Regular Script). Over the years, Bingqin has been passionate about exploring typeface design. His understanding and practice of traditional Chinese calligraphy have driven him to uncover the inherent radicalism and modernity within tradition, which he then incorporates into contemporary Chinese typeface design, aiming to create uniquely Eastern yet international typographic styles.
