Job Description
Your mission is to develop and maintain our font catalogue. Within an 8-person team, you will plan and take part in type design projects, including:
- Developing new fonts and extending existing fonts (widths, weights, language support, interpolability, etc.)
- Quality control and compliance with internal standards
- Developing, maintaining, and documenting workflows
- Maintaining a font catalogue of more than 1,000 references
Your profile
- Expertise in type design and production software (Glyphs, RoboFont, or FontLab), with experience in production workflows, quality assurance, and distribution preparation
- Skills in Python, Git, and command-line tools
- Strong knowledge of OpenType features, Unicode, and variable fonts
- Ability to modify, test, and maintain existing fonts and collaborate with the design team
You hold a master degree in typography or computer science, or have equivalent experience. You enjoy topics that combine art and technology, and you are organized, methodical, and autonomous, with the ability to work in a team on multiple projects simultaneously.
Conditions
- Experience: 3 years
- Contract: Full-time permanent position (35h paid as 39h), 51 days of annual paid leave
- Salary: Starting at €38,000 gross per year, then depending on experience/profile
- Start date: November 2025
- Location: Paris (75002), 2-month trial period
