Julien Lelièvre
Julien Lelièvre is a photographer and a graphic designer who has carved a niche for himself in exploring vernacular and popular design cultures.
Initially mentored by Pierre Bernard at Atelier de Création Graphique, he later navigated public commissions, converting constraints to legibility. Co-founding design collective HSH Crew and in 2004 the infamous Club des Chevreuils, he embraced collaborative creativity, continuing this ethos with Atelier collectif in 2012. Art d’Autoroute, one of his major projects, involved cataloging artworks along French motorways. Lelièvre teaches at University of Paris 8 and is an Associated Artist of the Maison de la Culture in Amiens.
