Ilya Ruderman
Ilya Ruderman is a type and graphic designer, as well as a teacher, who lives and works in Barcelona.
He is the co-founder of CSTM Fonts with Yury Ostromentsky, and a prolific consultant on Cyrillic fonts and typography. He graduated from the Moscow State University of the Printing Arts in 2002, where he studied under the supervision of Alexander Tarbeev. A Type & Media 2005 alumni, Ruderman practiced in Moscow for 10 years, and collaborated with many of the largest Russian media outlets, served as an art director for various content publishers including the news agency RIA-Novosti. He taught type and typography between 2007 and 2015 at the British Higher School of Art and Design in Moscow.
