We find there: “The practical elements necessary for the professions of letter painter and advertising designer, this collection is intended both for the apprentice, as a study book, and for the qualified professional, which will serve as a sort of memory aid.” Comprised of: eight plates of modern alphabets, ten of modern alphabets derived from current writings, three of inlays and reliefs, fifteen of fantasies (six rounded, four monsters, one blackletter, four sans), one ribbon alphabet, heraldic fantasy, ornate letters and pointed Renaissance.
