Deliveroo rebrands with Stratos

Deliveroo is a UK-based delivery service. Since 2013, it brings the world’s local restaurants into everyone’s home or office, fast. Being now one of London’s fastest growing startups, a rebranding was necessary to reflect the rapid expansion of the company.

In September 2016, Deliveroo revealed its new visual identity designed by London and San Francisco-based DesignStudio. This rebranding features an evolution of their iconic kangaroo, an complete overhaul of the typographic palette, some colorful rider jerseys, and a completely rethought online presence.

Production Type's Stratos is used as a primary typeface. According to James Hurst, executive strategic creative director at DesignStudio, “Stratos echoes here the angles and shape within the symbol and is brimming with personality for bold punchy headlines”. Stratos is used on riders' jackets, on the company's branded products, for its websites and its apps.
